Kevrin Blessing

Senior Vice President of Client Services

Kevrin is a seasoned leader with more than 34 years of experience in loan servicing and project management. As Senior Vice President of Client Services at IL Group, he is focused on one goal: helping financial institutions simplify and streamline their insurance processes with clarity and confidence. Kevrin’s career began in 1992 at Huntington Mortgage Company, where he worked as a real estate tax liaison and gained early insight into the servicing side of the industry. Over the years, he expanded his experience across escrow administration, client relations, and national account management. Before joining IL Group in 2015, he served as an account executive with Assurant and managed escrow administration for AmTrustBank.

Today, he draws on that background to support clients across a range of servicing platforms, including ICE Mortgage Technology, Sagent, FICS, and LoanPro, working through change with confidence.
A Certified Mortgage Servicer and licensed insurance agent in South Carolina, Kevrin is also an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Clients and colleagues value his clear communication, calm problem-solving approach, and commitment to getting the details right.

Outside of work, Kevrin enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite Cleveland sports teams.

Kathy Boston

Assistant Vice President of Client Services

With more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Kathy brings a steady, hands-on approach to supporting IL Group’s clients. In her role as Assistant Vice President of Client Services, she oversees every aspect of the client experience, from training and day-to-day assistance to helping institutions streamline processes and stay aligned with regulatory requirements. Clients know they can count on her for clear guidance, quick answers, and a genuine commitment to their success.

Kathy’s career spans a range of leadership roles in the mortgage servicing industry, including overseeing servicing operations for Alabama Housing Finance Authority. She has also worked with Regions Mortgage and Colonial Mortgage Company, where she became known for her practical problem-solving and strong operational insight. That experience helps her anticipate challenges and help clients navigate even complex servicing situations with confidence.

Kathy holds a degree in business administration from Auburn University and is known for her approachable style and ability to make even complicated servicing issues feel manageable. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and is a proud grandmother of four. She also loves crocheting, cross-stitching, and paper crafting.

Stephen Stidham

Business Systems Manager

Stephen brings a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, and client-focused insight to his role as Business Systems Manager. He oversees IL Group’s cybersecurity training platform, supports account consulting and marketing efforts, and plays a key role in developing the company’s internal infrastructure. Stephen has also been instrumental in expanding IL Group’s presence on the West Coast, using his IT background to streamline workflows and enhance the overall client experience.

A licensed property and casualty insurance producer and certified cyber risk manager, Stephen studied computer science and music performance at Auburn University. His mix of technical training and creative problem-solving helps him approach challenges from multiple angles, a strength clients and colleagues value. When he’s not supporting clients or improving IL Group’s systems, you’ll likely find Stephen flying airplanes or performing trombone with his local symphony. His wide range of interests reflects the same curiosity and dedication he brings to his work every day.

Ashley Tasker

Executive Assistant

Ashley has been part of IL Group for more than 21 years, bringing deep knowledge of the organization and a steady, supportive presence to the team. As Executive Assistant to the President and Office Manager, she helps keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and supports leadership wherever she’s needed. Ashley is often the first point of contact for internal teams and external partners, known for her organization, attention to detail, and willingness to step in wherever support is needed. Her long tenure reflects not only her dedication to IL Group but also the trust and relationships she has built with colleagues and clients alike.

A lifelong Gulf Coast resident, Ashley values community and connection both at work and at home. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her four grandchildren and enjoys being close to family in the place she’s always called home.

Derrick Cook

Director of Accounting

Derrick brings a blend of technical expertise and practical leadership to his role as Director of Accounting at IL Group. A Certified Public Accountant with more than a decade of experience, he oversees accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Before joining IL Group, Derrick built his career across public accounting, nonprofit finance, and operational leadership roles. His background includes experience in tax planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement, along with time spent supporting nonprofit organizations and consulting on internal controls. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Troy University.

Colleagues appreciate Derrick’s detail-oriented approach and clear communication style. He values strong systems that support long-term growth and enjoys finding ways to streamline processes while maintaining financial integrity across the organization. Outside of work, Derrick enjoys spending time outdoors, whether camping, boating, or relaxing at the beach. He’s active in his community, volunteering at local events like the Shrimp Festival and supporting children’s programs through his church. He lives with his wife, Cat, and their three fur babies (Dolly, Domino, and Dimitry), and he’s a devoted Alabama football fan. Roll Tide!

David Stidham

President

With more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage and insurance industries, David brings a rare combination of expertise, leadership, and genuine care to his role as President of IL Group. He joined the company and was named President in 2016. David began his career in banking and private mortgage lending, giving him a deep understanding of how financial institutions operate and what they need from an insurance partner. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) through the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and is licensed as an insurance agent in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.In addition to leading IL Group, David owns Crye-Leike Gulf Coast Real Estate and Saltwater Title Co., Inc., and is the founder of Impact Gulf Coast, a nonprofit focused on supporting communities along the Gulf Coast. No matter the role or organization, David is known for his steady leadership, practical problem-solving, and commitment to helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident at every step.

Liz Roberts

Regional Vice President

Liz brings 25 years of experience in commercial insurance and a genuine enthusiasm for the work she does. She previously served as the Brokerage Team Lead at Brown & Brown Insurance Services in Dallas, where she was known for her leadership and client-focused approach. A self-described “insurance nerd,” Liz truly enjoys digging into policy details to make sure coverage is clear, effective, and easy to understand. A proud Penn State alum and lifelong Nittany Lion fan, Liz earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2008. Earlier in her career, she owned and operated restaurants in Southern California, specializing in large-scale events and catering, and later worked as a corporate travel agent coordinating travel for major organizations, including professional sports teams. These experiences shaped her adaptability, attention to detail, and people-first approach. Outside of work, Liz has a passion for travel and adventure. She has completed a marathon in all 50 states, including an ultra-marathon in Colorado, and now enjoys a slower pace on a beach cruiser or kayak. She splits her time between Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Key Colony Beach in the Florida Keys, and she embraces every opportunity to explore.

Angelo Adams

Senior Vice President

With nearly 20 years of experience in the banking and mortgage industry, Angelo leads IL Group’s sales efforts and works closely with clients to build strong, long-term relationships. Since joining the company in 2014, he has become a go-to advisor for banks, mortgage companies, and mortgage servicers looking for clear guidance and dependable insurance solutions. Angelo built his career in leadership roles at BBVA Compass Bank, RBC Bank, and Wells Fargo/Norwest Financial, experience that shaped his strong understanding of both banking operations and client service.At BBVA Compass Bank, he served as a Branch Retail Executive, where he managed sales, operations, and branch staff.A graduate of Huntingdon College with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Angelo also played collegiate baseball and helped lead his team to a National Championship in 2000. Known for his steady leadership and collaborative approach, he helps clients simplify insurance decisions with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Angelo has served for many years on his Greek Orthodox Church’s Board, where he supports both his church and local community through volunteer service. He lives in Orange Beach, Alabama, with his wife and two daughters and is grateful to call the Gulf Coast home.
